Studious Gulls - River Gallery 2018

A pink misty morning with much activity in the creek. So intent were these birds, that I was able to walk to the end of the pier and fool with my camera whilst they posed. Only the channel marker color was enhanced.

Approximately 37 inches square, printed on canvas with archival inks. $350

Please note that I will be starting a new blog in 2018. Because of retirements at River Gallery, there was no community exhibition in 2017. Owner Laura remains so you should still keep up with River Gallery and the now contiguous Re Find. They are open the first weekend of the month and Laura rents the gallery to other groups for other times. Check it out!

2016 Community Exhibit

Boys in Tree

This tree was bent over by Hurricane Isabel in 2003. In the 'bent but not broken' category, the tree has grown new limbs in subsequent years. In addition to oxygen and beauty, we can add fort to its contributions. The young men have surrounded it with bricks (found in the water) and find it a good place to take a break from their busy skateboarding schedule.
